Industrial PICMG 1.3 Single-Board Computer

New CyberResearch® CEGA single-board computers bring unprecedented 3 Gb/s bandwidth and PCIe capability to industrial computing. The CEGA CPU card comes with dual Gigabit Ethernet, four SATA RAID ports, seven USB 2.0 ports, and your choice of 3.6GHz or 3.2GHz Pentium® D CPUs.

CyberResearch, Inc. is offering the new CEGA single-board computer to bring the advantages of the PICMG 1.3 standard to industrial computing. In combination with PICMG 1.3 backplanes, the CEGA SBC supports high-speed PCI Express (PCIe) slots in place of older ISA slots. Now industrial PCs can use the latest high-speed video and data-acquisition cards longside standard PCI cards.

CEGA CPU cards carry all the signals for up to 16 traditional PCI cards and five or more PCIe cards -- far beyond what motherboard systems allow. Powerful industrial systems can be designed for up to 19 expansion slots.

CEGA SBCs also support higher power levels. CEGA boards draw up to 500W without damage, more than double the 227W limit in traditional PICMG 1.0 boards. The additional power supports modern dual-processor systems and high-speed CPUs.
