Portable PC System with 17" Display and 7 Full-Length Expansion Slots
Field work is tough on PCs, especially if they go to the field in off-road vehicles. That's why CyberResearch, Inc. offers the new LPM 617 series of portable PCs with steel-framed aluminum chassis, hard rubber corner bumpers, 270-nit 17" LCD monitor, 7 full-length expansion slots, 4 drive bays, and CPUs up to 3.4GHz.
CyberResearch® LPM 617 portable PCs are designed for the rough and tumble of field work, withstanding shocks to 15g and vibration of 1.25g from 10 to 100Hz. The steel-frame chassis supports an aluminum case with shock-absorbing rubber bumpers on all eight corners. All LPM 617 PCs come with a deluxe carrying case with telescoping pull handles and rolling wheels.
This rugged case tilts backward for easier viewing of the high-bright 270-nit 17" LCD monitor. The keyboard with 2-button touchpad is attached to the case with spring clips; it can be detached and moved to a more comfortable typing position.
LPM 617 PCs come with your choice of 2.4 or 3.0GHz Pentium® 4 CPUs, 256MB RAM, 160GB hard drive, CD-RW/DVD drive, and Windows® XP. You also have a choice of 1 AGP and 5 PCI expansion slots or 3 ISA and 4 PCI slots. Regardless of bus, all slots fit up to 13.5" long cards. |
