Rack-mount rooms are often short on comfortable working space for people, so CyberResearch, Inc. offers a KVM FoldAway keyboard/monitor with separate rails for each component. Leave the monitor up to see remote PCs. Slide the keyboard out to type commands -- then slide it back in for more breathing space.
The CyberResearch® GFC 1708DA dual-rail FoldAway combines an 8-port KVM with a 300-nit 17" LCD monitor and a 104-key Windows® keyboard, all in 1U of rack height. Because it comes with separate rail sets for keyboard and monitor, you can slide these two elements in out separately. When you slide both of them in, a keylock prevents unauthorized use.
A unique cabling system for GFC series FoldAways allows easy setup. Monitor, keyboard and mouse signals from the remote PC are picked up on conventional PS/2 and VGA connectors, then composited onto a unique HD-15 connector at the GFC FoldAway end, for easy connection. The same system works in reverse when you type commands on the GFC keyboard.
Connect to remote PCs via bushbuttons, AutoScan, hot keys, or the OSD menu. AutoScan scrolls down through active systems at the rate you select. |
