Our PCI-bus ESH 1000 Series controllers use ESH ST68 terminal panels, with either 3- or 6-foot cables (ESH CBL6803 & ESH CBL6806), which have proven themselves in the field with our ESH 680 Series PC/104 models. This panel breaks out the 68 signals to a three row screw-terminal block.
The ESH ST68 utilizes low-pass filters as condtioners for the positive and negative limit signals. Default values of 100 ohms and 1.0µF are used. This results in an RC constant with an average cutoff frequency of 21.5kHz (worst case - all other signals unterminated).
Noise-reducing pull-up resistors of 2.2k ohms are also provuded on the step-output signals of each axis.
The +5VDC on the ESH ST68 is supplied by the ESH 1000 board and is protected by a resetable fuse on the ESH 1000. |
