Introduction

Our 16-bit PM 235A gives you front or side access to your PC Cards. This is because the PC Card slots are encased in a unit that mounts in a 3.5" drive bay. Most desktop PCs have these bays on the front of the computer.

The PM 235A provides two PC Card slots; one Type II and one Type III slot. A Type I or Type II PC Card fits in either or both of the two slots. A Type III card fits only into a Type III slot. The ISA interface card is 7.2" (182mm) long. The PM 235A has drivers for Windows® 95/98/2000 and DOS.

Many kinds of PC Cards are supported, including SRAM, Flash, LAN, fax/modem, SCSI, and PC Card hard drives. The PM 235A does not support hot-swapping PC Card cards.
