Introduction

Our rugged yet lightweight aluminum DDA 04A chassis provides removable trays for four 3.5" SATA hard drives (drives sold separately). The bays are easy to open and close, and can be locked for security. Each tray has its own LEDs for power and drive activity.

DDA 04A is ideal for mass-storage backups, with drives that are not only removable but hot-swappable. Cooling blowers can also be hot-swapped, which makes it easy to keep your drives running 24/7 if you make sure to have a spare on hand.

An internal environmental monitor tracks the internal temperature of the chassis and operation of the two cooling blowers. The monitor alarms on fan failures and at settable temperatures of 50, 60, or 70°C. LEDs on the front panel show blower and thermal alarms, and you can quiet the alarm while changing a fan.
