This 12-outlet industrial surge protector makes it easy to organize power in your rack. The illuminated power switch on the front panel lets you control 1800W of power to your rack-mount equipment while simultaneously protecting it against transient power spikes and surges. A protective cover over the power switch prevents accidental shut-off. Eight of the outlets have 40dB of noise suppression (2 in front, 6 in back, black), while 4 of the rear outlets (white) provide enhanced 80dB noise suppression for sensitive equipment. A combination of metal oxide varistors (MOVs), toroidal balanced chokes, and VHF capacitors stabilize incoming power and provide normal-mode (H-N) and common-mode (N-G / H-G) line surge suppression. Thermal fusing helps prevent unsafe conditions during extreme extended overvoltages and catastrophic occurances. Conforms with IEEE 587 / ANSI C62.41 specifications. A 15A circuit breaker (easily reset via pushbutton on front panel) protects against overload conditions and short-circuits in connected equipment. |
