Introduction

The CyDAS 48 board is an extension of the popular CyDAS 8 architecture. It provides 24 differential or 48 single-ended analog input channels. Voltage gains are programmable for 0.5, 1, 2, 4, or 8X.

A current-measurement conversion kit contains six 4-resistor SIPs, to give you 24 current-input channels. The kit can be installed at the factory or by the user. Part number of the kit is CyDAS 48SIP.

A DC/DC converter supplies stable +/- 15-V power to the analog circuitry. With an order of 10 or more units you can order the board without this power supply. This reduces the cost, but limits the range of analog inputs.
