Our CYDAS 800 Series of multifunction analog and digital interface boards are the newer generation of our popular CYDAS 8 family of Metrabyte™ compatibles. These boards are a direct replacement for the standard Metrabyte DAS-8 series, as well as the newer DAS-800 series. They are 100% register and connector compatible, so all Metrabyte-compatible DAS-8 accessories and software will work seamlessly. Advances in technology have brought faster A/D conversions and greater data transfer speeds! THese boards can sustain higher A/D throughput under Windows® than earlier models for three reasons:

1. Faster A/D converter (50 ks/sec vs. 20ks/sec)
2. FIFO buffer (256 samples)
3. Improved transfer interrupt structure (block transfer every 128 samples vs. one transfer per conversion).
