In the past, if you wanted the resolution and accuracy of 24 data bits you often had to settle for speeds under 100 Hz -- usually well under. Now, our UCDAS 3224 and UCDAS 3224DA give you 24-bit data at speeds up to 3,750 samples/second. In addition to nine voltage ranges from +/- 20 VDC down to +/-0.78125 VDC, they also support J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B thermocouple inputs, which collectively cover a temperature range fom -210 to +1820 deg. C. And they have all the multifunction bells and whistles that make data acquisition convenient:
- A 64-sample input channel-gain queue
- Eight individually programmable digital I/O lines
- Two 32-bit counter-timers
- An A/D FIFO of 512 samples
- Four 16-bit D/A channels with a 1024-sample FIFO (UCDAS 3224DA only)
By themselves, these modules provide 32 single-ended or 16 differential inputs. Paired with our UCDAS EXP3224 multiplexer, the number doubles to 64 S.E or 32 differential inputs.
To keep the CPU load on your host computer to a minimum, a high-performance 16-bit RISC microcomputer oversees all measurements and an 8-bit RISC microcomputer manages the USB interface. |
