Built around the LGA775 CPU socket (Socket "T"), our MXSP motherboard
supports CPU speeds up to 3.8GHz with 2MB of Level 2 cache memory and 800MHz FSB
speeds. The MXSP supports the use of dual banks of DDR RAM, using two
interleaved channels to vastly improve memory clock speed. This results in
faster system speed and improved system stability. It features:
- PCI Express: Many of the latest video cards are designed
for PCI Express slots. The MXSP includes one x16 PCI Express slot (for video
cards) and two x1 PCI Express slots.
- Gigabit LAN: Built-in Ethernet port supports 1000Base-T for
network connections at up to 1000Mbps data rate.
- Serial ATA: Four Serial ATA (SATA) ports for hard drive and
other SATA devices.
- Built-In Video: The GMA 950 processor uses up to 224MB of
shared video RAM to support high-resolution monitors (to 2048 x 1536) from the
built-in VGA port.
