Cameras for both machine-vision and security applications often need to be
located far from the controlling computers. Our new CLE 500 extender set makes
it easy to put computers and cameras in their ideal locations -- without
compromising resolution or security. Multimode fiber optic cable transmits
CameraLink™ signals up to 1,640 feet without picking up the electromagnetic
interference that is common on shop floors and in laboratories.
The 26-pin Camera Link standard normally only supports cables up to 5 meters long, but the CLE 500 allows you to use standard fiber optic cable to separate your camera from your frame grabber by up to 500 meters (1640 feet)!
Just place the transmitter by your camera, and the receiver by your frame
grabber, and turn it on. Supports high-resolution images at 30 frames per second
(full-motion video). |
