Protect your data from theft or unauthorized use with our DataPak™ HDDM 210 removable hard disk mounting kit. The HDDM 210 features 64-bit DES security to encrypt your entire disk content. Insert your hard disk into the drive module, and insert the module into the frame (or use any HDDM 202 mounting frame). To access the data, insert your special data encryption key in the module and use the keylock to power up the drive. Remove the encryption key and store it while the drive is in use. When you want to remove the drive module, just unlock it (which also powers down the drive) and pull it out of its aluminum mounting frame; your data is automatically encrypted. Using our HDDM 211 (beige) or HDDM 211B (black) extra drive modules, users can each have their own personal removable hard drive for sensitive data, each with its unique encryption key.
Our all-metal HDDM 210 mounting kit is constructed of cast aluminum and steel, and has been designed to completely enclose and protect your hard disk drive. A built-in cooling fan is mounted within each frame. The HDDM 220 fits any 5.25" half-height drive bay and supports 3.5" IDE/ATA (40-pin) drives. Available in black or beige.
Pull-out drives made with DataPak mounting systems consist of three elements:
- Frames permanently mounted in a drive bay in a computer.
- Modules slide into the frames and are locked in with a key. We call the module/frame combination a "kit."
- Hard drives mount inside modules and are rarely removed from them. (Hard drives sold separately.)
Choose a model that fits a 3.5" hard drive into a 5.25" drive bay:
- HDDM 200 for an IDE/ATA-133 drive.
- HDDM 220, for an IDE drive, includes 128-bit encryption.
- HDDM 210, for an IDE drive, includes 64-bit encryption.
- HDDM 200S for a SATA drive.
- HDDM 200W for a Wide SCSI drive.
- HDDM 300 for an IDE/ATA-100 drive.
- HDDM 400SB for a SATA drive.
For multiple 2.5" hard drives in a single bay, choose:
- HDDM 2500 series can replace your floppy drive with two 2.5" IDE or SATA hard drives in a 3.5" drive bay.
- HDDM 4250S for four 2.5" SATA drives in a 5.25" drive bay.
For multiple 3.5" hard drives in your spare (concurrent) 5.25" drive bays, choose:
- HDDM 3350S for three 3.5" SATA drives in two 5.25" bays.
- HDDM 4350S for four 3.5" SATA drives in three 5.25" bays.
