Introduction

| The CYB 1422C and CYB 2422C cards come with on-board zener diodes to protect against transient voltage spikes. They also feature on-board terminating resistors with full failsafe protection against both open and short circuits.
With these cards, optional wiring schemes include: (A) one talker and many listeners; (B) many talkers and listeners, full duplex; (C) many talkers and listeners, half duplex.
These cards are PCMCIA Type II cards with plug-and-play capability, autoconfiguring, auto interrupt, and full addressing. In RS-422 mode, data flow is software-controlled. The RS-485 mode features hardware-controlled autogating. Both RS-422 cards offer full modem control of TX, RX, RTS, CTS, and GND signals, and include drivers for Win 95/98/ME. Windows NT4/2000/XP support for single-port card (1422C) only. |
