Our ESW 405M ring-redundant Ethernet switch supports various ring topologies. The switch reads the header frame of each Ethernet packet, so it knows how and where to forward each packet. This capability provides redundancy and increases available bandwidth.
The rugged switch wall-mounts or DIN-mounts. It comes with a heavy-duty
aluminum case (or choose the ESW
405P, which is functionally identical, but comes with an industrial plastic
case). The ESW 405M includes five RJ-45 Ethernet ports, as well as an RS-232/485
port on a single RJ-45 connector, so you can communicate with both serial and
Ethernet devices, or peripheral switches like our ESW
205P and ESW
208P. Power and output replays are connected via screw terminals. The switch
has two independent DC power supplies for enhanced reliability. |
