<P>UMDAS and UWDAS remote temperature-measurement modules let you gather data 
with or without a physical connection to your computer. </P>
<P>Connect via USB cables, by changing out CompactFlash card, or via encrypted 
wireless transmission -- all with your choice of sensing devices. </P>
 
Introduction

Our UWDAS TC and UWDAS TH wireless remote analog input modules are ideal for high-resolution temperature measurements anywhere in your plant. These modules provide 8 differential temperature input channels plus 8 independently programmable digital I/O channels. UWDAS TC accepts thermocouple inputs. UWDAS TH accepts thermocouple, RTD, thermistor, and semiconductor inputs. The UWDAS use IEEE 802.15.4 wireless technology and 128-bit AES encryption. In normal use, they communicate with your PC via our transceiver module UWDAS TXM. For setup or troubleshooting purposes, you can also connect to your PC via a USB cable.

  • UMDAS TCLOG: UMDAS TC with 64MB CompactFlash (no PC required)

  • All pins pulled up to +5V through 47Kohm resistors (Pulled down to ground available)
  • All ground pins (9, 19, 28, 38) are common and earth ground isolated. Connecting this ground to earth ground will make the thermocouples No Longer Isolated.
