Introduction

Choose our lightweight, compact UMDAS 0802 USB-bus A/D module for fast, easy data acquisition without ever opening your computer. The palm-size module is intended for relatively light-duty applications where easy connection and disconnection is desired.

The UMDAS 0802 features eight 50kHz 11-bit A/Ds, two 12-bit D/As, 16 DIOs, and one counter-timer. Other modules in our UMDAS series include:

  • UMDAS 0802L, with eight 11-bit A/Ds, two 10-bit D/As, and 16 DIOs
  • UMDAS 0802DA, with eight 14-bit A/Ds, two 12-bit D/As, and 16 DIOs
  • UMDAS 0802HR, with eight 16-bit A/Ds and 8 DIOs

There is no on-board FIFO, but an EEPROM on this module has 512 bytes reserved for the user, and there are 2,048 bytes of data memory in the microcontroller.
